Museum of the Occupation of Latvia (LV)
Museum of the Occupation of Latvia is a state-accredited private museum founded in 1993. It is maintained and managed by the Latvian Occupation Museum Society, a public benefit organization.
After several years of reconstruction, the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia returned to the renovated building, Latviešu Strēlnieku Square 1. On May 30, 2022, a ceremonial opening of the new exposition took place.
We have installed a state-of-the-art QR code access system in the museum, which also includes the elevator, turnstiles, and the cash register system. This advanced access system, manufactured by the Austrian company Gantner, ensures efficient and secure entry for visitors. In addition to the access system, we have integrated a new ticketing solution, which encompasses online sales for a seamless visitor experience.
